TERMS OF SERVICE

Clear rules for a classroom product.

The practical responsibilities that come with using ClassVillage as a teacher, school, student or family member.

Last updated September 18, 2026

Agreement and eligibility

These terms apply when you access or use ClassVillage. The service is currently operated by Michael Premo during its test phase. Teachers and school administrators must be able to enter a binding agreement for themselves or their organization.

Student and family access is provided only through a teacher- or school-issued code. A child does not purchase a subscription or create an independent commercial account.

Accounts and classroom responsibility

You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting sign-in credentials and classroom codes, and promptly revoking access that should no longer be active. Teachers and schools decide which students and records belong in their classroom workspace.

Do not enter information you do not have authority to use. You are responsible for required school approvals, parent notices and consent under the rules that apply to your organization.

Acceptable use

Do not use ClassVillage to harm, embarrass, discriminate against or publicly rank children in an unsafe way; upload unlawful material; probe or bypass access controls; interfere with the service; impersonate another person; or use student information for advertising or unrelated commercial profiling.

ClassVillage may suspend access needed to protect students, other users, the service or the law. We will try to preserve legitimate classroom records and provide a reasonable export path where appropriate.

Trials, subscriptions and cancellation

ClassVillage Pro currently offers a 30-day free trial followed by the monthly or annual price shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Paddle is the merchant of record and shows the currency, taxes, renewal date and final total before confirmation.

You may cancel anytime. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal while paid access continues through the current billing period. A failed renewal receives the stated seven-day grace period before classroom editing becomes read-only.

Full cancellation and refund details appear in the cancellation and refund policy.

Ownership and permission

Teachers and schools retain their rights in classroom information they enter. They give ClassVillage the limited permission needed to host, process, display, back up and transmit that information solely to provide and secure the service.

ClassVillage’s software, artwork, name, interface and original product materials remain the property of their respective owner. These terms do not transfer ownership of the product.

Availability and changes

ClassVillage is still being prepared for production launch. Features may change, and test-mode access may be interrupted. We aim to protect classroom continuity, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

Material changes to pricing or these terms will be communicated before they take effect. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised terms.

Educational decisions and liability

ClassVillage is a classroom support tool, not an official student information system, medical service, safeguarding authority or substitute for professional educational judgment. Teachers remain responsible for point decisions, records, student welfare and any consequences based on product information.

To the extent permitted by law, ClassVillage is provided without implied warranties and liability is limited to the amount paid for the service during the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.

Ending use and questions

You may stop using ClassVillage and cancel renewal at any time. When access ends, existing classroom data remains available in read-only form for a reasonable transition period unless deletion is requested or legally required.

Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@getclassvillage.com or started through the support center. Final business-address and governing-law details will be added before production sales open.
